Our bad luck followed us to Colorado — our whole trip was gloomy, rainy and cold, so we weren’t able to get too many good shots from the mountains. It was great to see our friends David and Amanda though, and there were some very competitive pitch matches and serious Wii action. Dustin’s already making plans to get back in the Winter for some skiing.

So took a little tumble heading out to our garage on Friday morning and managed to land in a really unfortunate manner on my right foot. Friday did not go according to plan and I ended up working from bed, before making a trip to West O with Dustin to see some friends (a trip in which we blew a tire, also very unfortunate). Woke up yesterday morning unable to put any weight on it, so I’ve been alternating hobbling with a cane, crawling and as of this morning rolling up (smart girl, busted out the office chair) down our hallway, but mostly sitting with ice and doing NOTHING. Not much improvement so far this morning — still can’t put any weight on it and I’m meant to be meeting the girls again…. Not timely what with furniture being delivery this week and then we’re off to CO this weekend. Luckily Matt was over yesterday and helped move some furniture around since I certainly wasn’t.
