Merry Christmas
Well another year has passed along with a few more changes for the Kreifels. Dustin now has a year of practicing law under his belt. His latest passion is homebrew — we’ve got a basement full of brewing accoutrements and empty bottles. Next up, wine brewing.
Marissa left ConAgra Foods in April and is now working at TD Ameritrade. Oh, and about the broken foot, who would have thought a slip down ONE step the first week in October would STILL be reverberating. It took three weeks before we knew that the foot was broken, and then there were six weeks in a walking cast, unable to drive. Marissa’s out of the cast now and wearing something called a “rocket sock.” Still not anywhere near 100%, but making progress. Hope to have dancing shoes back on in another month or so. I could survive the slip’n’slide and can’t walk down a step??
Work around the house has slowed the last few months with the bum foot, but we did get more painting done this year and a lot more planted out in the garden. But for now, we’re loving being in the middle of the holiday season. The Christmas decor is over the top as usual, thanks to some extra help since ladders are currently hazardous to Marissa’s help. Dustin outdid himself on the outdoor lights as well. We have a busy schedule of holiday happenings up until Christmas, so the season is going by WAY too fast as usual.
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
