We made a trip down to Nebraska City this weekend, mostly to get some delicious apple donuts, but also to get some shots of the foliage before it’s completely gone.  The leaves here in town are getting scarce, but there were lots of trees still sporting the beautiful colors of the season at Arbor Lodge State Park.  Would have liked to have had full use of the foot, but luckily there is a road through the park and Dustin was a sport about driving me from shot to shot.

Our bad luck followed us to Colorado — our whole trip was gloomy, rainy and cold, so we weren’t able to get too many good shots from the mountains.  It was great to see our friends David and Amanda though, and there were some very competitive pitch matches and serious Wii action.  Dustin’s already making plans to get back in the Winter for some skiing.

Well we finally made the trip out when it WASN’T a million degrees and instead it was cold and rainy both days we wanted to be out on the water.  Don’t think that stopped me from getting sunburned though.  The guys braved the water and the Huskers won, so all in all, not a bad weekend.  Here some pics, but keep in mind, I’m still mastering the gallery….
